The ultimate in fishing games, ‘Odell Lake’ taught elementary school students everywhere the basic brain functions of marine life: swim higher, swim lower, eat or stay put. As some variety of guppy, you’re pitted against everything from otters to ospresy in an attempt to get fatter and stay alive. Sadly, it’s pretty much impossible to find this game, since it came out on the original giant floppy disc back in the ’80s, but you can re-live the memories in the newer, much more interactive version, ‘Odell Down Under,’ which actually runs on machines other than the Apple II.
