The fight that happened on South Campus on Oct. 19 was simply unacceptable. I come from a rough neighborhood where this type of behavior is fairly common, but I would never expect to see something like this happen on the university campus where I pay top dollar to attend. People with this type of mentality belong in jail, not in college. Just think, the guy who was arrested was a student from the College of Human Services and Health Professions. Yeah, OK. Let’s all hope that he doesn’t return to the university, and if he does, it’s only to pack his bags.
