Why it’s worthy:

The spinning heads are back. Need we say more? Although this movie is a prequel to the cross-jabbing original, there’s plenty in here to make it scream worthy. The film details the history of Father Lancaster Merrin’s (Skarsgard) ventures to archeological sites in Africa, where the evils of Satan are buried beneath the sand. As members of his team work to uncover the mysteries of a Christian Byzantine church, havoc is unleashed upon the village of Turkana in the forms of madness and death.

Bambi: Platinum Edition

Starring: Hardie Albright (voice of Bambi), Peter Behn (voice of thumper)

Why it’s worthy:

The 1942 classic is back – complete with your furry friends of the underbrush. What could be more endearing than a budding friendship between a whitetail deer (Albright), a bunny named Thumper (Behn), and a skunk named Flower (Stan Alexander)? Bambi’s chances are looking pretty good when he snags the attention of a girl deer named Faline (Ann Galine), but things go terribly wrong when a hunter sets his sight on Bambi’s mother.
