Student taken to hospital after car accident

A Syracuse University student got in a car accident with a non-university affiliated person Monday at about 1 p.m. while driving on Skytop Road, according to a Public Safety report.

The student was transported to University Hospital for further evaluation, the report stated.

The student has since been released from the hospital, said Capt. Drew Buske of Public Safety.

Unidentified person(s) broke into a vending machine in Dellplain Hall and stole snacks from it sometime between Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and Monday at 7:30 a.m., according to a Public Safety report.

Unidentified person(s) painted an unauthorized message on the wall of the Shaffer Art Building’s main lobby sometime between Saturday at 4 p.m. and Monday at 7:30 a.m., according to a Public Safety report.
