Syracuse has not lost to Wake Forest since moving over into the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Orange has outscored the Demon Deacons, 73-24, in the series and has not allowed more than 17 points in a game.

Syracuse will play Wake Forest at 7 p.m. on Oct. 8 at BB&T Field, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Monday. The game will be televised on Regional Sports Network.

The Orange (2-2, 0-1 ACC) has not lost to the Demon Deacons (4-0, 1-0) since starting its ACC slate in 2013. SU is 3-0 and has outscored Wake Forest, 73-24, in the three games the teams have played. Last season was the first time in the three matchups Wake Forest mustered more than just one score in the game.

In the interim, Syracuse plays Notre Dame at noon in MetLife Stadium, the last time the program is planning to play there for the time being. That game will be televised on ESPN. The Demon Deacons will face in-state foe North Carolina State on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
