Grand larceny and prostitution were among this week's crimes in the university area.

Here is a round-up of criminal activity that happened near campus this week, according to police bulletins:

Grand larceny
A Syracuse University student, 19, was arrested on the charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, according to a police bulletin. Grand larceny in the fourth degree is any theft of property when the value of the property exceeds $1,000.

An SU student, 20, was arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of marijuana, according to a police bulletin.

Driving while intoxicated
A Syracuse man, 67, was arrested on the charge of driving while influenced with a blood alcohol content higher than .18, according to a police bulletin.

When: Sunday at 12:21 a.m.

Prostitution
A Syracuse woman, 28, was arrested on the charge of prostitution, according to a police bulletin.

When: Tuesday at 2:03 p.m.
Where: 100 block of Hier Avenue

Petit larceny
A Syracuse girl, 16, was arrested on the charge of petit larceny, according to a police bulletin.
